Oct 3 2010: I think the problem is the gendered terms, which give you the emotional aversion. But the "male characteristics" and "female characteristics" are not exclusive to that gender. We all have both characteristics, more or less. For example, being aggressive is said to be male characteristics, and being communicative is said to be female characteristics. You see?
We should all embrace the good ones, and reject what is not, regardless of in which gender it is found to be more prevailing. You may not agree which characteristics to pursue or reject, but there is nothing to be emotional about it.

It would still be worth harvesting what he has to teach and inspire despite his flaws which, you say, is not shown here. (If I have to deal with someone imperfect everyday, that would be a different story.)
In that sense, we should try to live up to our standards so we can be judged not by what we say but by what we do.
Oct 2 2010: It would be great to have more TEDtalks on sleep. Many people seem to be interested (including myself) because apparently we face it everyday. Looking forward to it.
Oct 1 2010: After reading Jean Ziegler's books, I wondered how we can stop the multinational companies from doing business that causes poverty and death on the other side of the world.
