  • A reply on Talk: Leslie T. Chang: The voices of China's workers

Sep 20 2012: Or haven't we move the phenomenon elsewhere and delayed the awaited global social transformation, or maybe we just wait for more pollution and exploitation.
There are workers outside of China too that are part of the production chain. And we should consider the aftermath of all these wonderful products. Where is it? Asia? India? Africa?
Isn't it shoking that while we violate our soils all over our planet the greatest female farmer population has to go in factories to be able to provide for their basic needs? To seek a little freedom in work in the conditions that are.
Products that should be sustainable, reusable, open to the common good benefit.
This profit wheel is coming to an end.
Long road but each step is taken.
Of course, not everything is negative. We may have to positive and transcend our relationship to those products. Pay attention to what we buy would be a good move it would seem.
About China workers, I would suggest this book:
