Tery Spataro is passionate about everything she does. Known for creating a framework for digital marketing strategy and using digital research, which helped many brands understand the role digital plays in their marketing and communications efforts. She continues to develop successful engaging promotional strategies and delivering value to customers, organizations, and stakeholders. She holds a strong ethical and social commitment to her clients and their customers.
Tery wields over two decades of experience in digital and traditional marketing communications. She has served as a senior vice president at R/GA, Ogilvy Worldwide, Blue Dingo, Wunderman, and Edelman. Provided strategic direction for Volvo Cars NA, Johnson & Johnson, SC Johnson, Olympus America, Warner Brothers, Reebok, L’Oreal Cosmetics, Clairol, Jose Cuervo. Burson-Marsteller, Tery led the US digital practice as Director, of Digital Account Services. She leads the strategic and account efforts for Hormel, Nestle Waters NA, Bureau of Printing and Engraving, Celestial Seasoning, Takeda and Wheat Foods Council.

No stranger to entrepreneurial life, Tery founded, self-funded, and operated 5 businesses: Stir Associates, a premier Silicon Alley interactive marketing firm; Accents By Allison, an eCommerce business based in Phoenix; and Mind Arrays, a global marketing consulting firm; On-The-Edge, e-voice greeting and ecard sevice. Stir Associates was successfully sold in 1998. Tery recently started Orange Insights with Amy Lieberman to address the need for stronger digital research and strategic planning.

From 1998-2003, Tery worked with well known advertising agency investors. She helped the Tempus Group buy and rollup 5 US based digital marketing agencies to form the Outrider Group. In addition she helped secure funding for 7 digital startup businesses.

A recognized community leader, Tery has provided guidance and advice to new entrepreneurs and served on several advisory boards. Throughout the years she lectured at universities and international conferences providing valuable thought leadership and is quoted in books and articles about business and marketing.

Now living in Boulder, CO, Tery an affiliate professor at Regis University helping design digital curriculum for MBA program. She finished writing her first book, "The Other Side of the Box", a thought-provoking perception book
