A comment on Talk: Pranav Mistry: The thrilling potential of SixthSense technology

May 31 2012: With your beautiful open source code in hand I move forward to build my own, built around my own life. May the Gods of Technology grant you even more wisdom to share with the world!
  • A comment on Talk: Vijay Kumar: Robots that fly ... and cooperate

Mar 3 2012: The autonomous swarm is incredible. Imagine the apps that can be made for your swarm: "Kid Swarm" protecting your baby in a shield of swarm protection. "Builder Bob Swarm" building big things fast. "Amber Alert Swarm" just try it, we will find you. "Demolition Swarm" turning structures into piles of recyclable materials in a day. "Smart Traffic Light Mini Swarm" never wait at an unnecessary red light again. "EMP Proof - Civilization Swarm" post disaster reconstruction and maintenance. The list goes on. Great work.

A comment on Talk: Misha Glenny: Hire the hackers!

Sep 18 2011: Crackers is the term NOT hackers. The title should read "Hire the Crackers and turn them into Hackers". Thanks for the talk and for getting people thinking.
  • A comment on Conversation: Technology can improve life - even dramatically - but to believe that it is the panacea of poverty or hunger is flawed.

Jul 15 2011: The only practical way that internet and mobile could solve hunger is by providing the ability to order take-out. I'm not trying to sound like a jerk, but who believes that the internet and mobiles could solve this problem? The internet and mobiles can ASSIST in addressing the issues.
  • A comment on Talk: Elliot Krane: The mystery of chronic pain

Jun 2 2011: Whoever puts an end to this type of suffering through technology should be a Tech Saint.
  • A comment on Talk: The Infinite House

    Mar 25 2011: Enjoyed this...as entertainment.

A comment on Conversation: Should the internet be a fundamental right?

Mar 6 2011: When in doubt, apply the Golden Rule. Ask yourself..."Self...if I didn't have internet access, how would I feel." Ask folks in countries who are being bullied and controlled in their internet access, "would you like more freedom in your internet access?". You will quickly see that the LARGE majority of humans want unfettered internet access. Case closed. The next question is who is going to pay for it? The answer, we all should. Then, the next questions is, who should govern it? The answer is we all should govern via peer review and input. Support "Free space technology" for the internet and we won't be having this discussion. Google: "Free Space Technology Robert Haussmann". Self governing is key!

A comment on Talk: Wael Ghonim: Inside the Egyptian revolution

Mar 5 2011: The lasting results of the Egyptian Revolution are yet to be seen. Let's see what happens when the dust finally settles, and who is left standing in power.
  • A comment on Talk: Michael Pawlyn: Using nature's genius in architecture

Mar 3 2011: It would be nice if we had a system that would allow common sense technologies to thrive. Something needs to change soon.

A comment on Talk: Elizabeth Lindsey: Curating humanity's heritage

Feb 28 2011: The people who didn't get this talk probably will never get it. You are not getting the meaning of this talk because you cannot feel it. There is a message behind her words that you can feel, if you are in tune with yourself. I feel more in touch with my meaningful side after this talk...thanks!
