More About Me

An idea worth spreading

Hi, I'm Kwang yeon whose this semester will be the last one before graduating. As you've been, I also have great memories gotten through the internship as well as studying overseas. I was also frightened at the firt time of spending whole day times with Canadian for two months. But as everything do, as long as I'm ready to do whatever I'm interested with passion and vision also effort, nothing impossible. With this enthusiastic mind, I applied for the internship program which had various and many different kind of available vacant positions. Of these openings, what I chose was the Canadian Red Cross. Beside this organization, there were lots of interesting positions available such as a job allowing me to work at the beautiful shore all the time or somewhere that was awesome. But I decided the Canadian Red Cross. At present, I can't forget what my co-workers told me when I turned back after saying farewell coments. You were the best asian person we've ever met... and, keep in touch :)!

People don't know that I'm good at

I'm good at swimming :)! and driving~ lastly.. good at and also enjoy having a delicious liquor!

  Sep 12 2010: I came back to my country a couple of weeks ago after leaving my valuable experience in The Canadian Red Cross. I've worked there as a internship. During this time, I've met a number of people whose body shape is not like us. Seeing the handicaped people is not hard because it's possible to see them anywhere a road is being made. However, their state of mind and behaviour are totally different and these are up to where they are as well as whom they talk with to open their mind. The disabled people whom I saw on the ordinary street don't look very sure of themselves. In contrast, when they're about to enter our Red Cross office, a bright atmosphere of smile alread spread out on their face. I could figure it out. Because they know that once entering this building, somebody is waiting for them to hear what they say, or waiting to help them what they need. What they really want is not something immense but the treat and sincere feeling that help us eliminate a preconception towards them.

  Sep 4 2010: Idea is so great that no doubt towards something negative is emrged. Personally, I believe there are some reasons they've made a comedy team consisting of the people from Middle Eastern. Beacuse of that those of countries's atmosphere is so gloomy as well as a little bit frightful that something bright has been essential to change the mood of the Middle Eastern countries. However, the sources of the comedy are almost organized by critisizing some aspects of the U.S. Since the medias coming from U.S have been affected to changes of the Middle Eastern countris whether that was good or not. No matter how joyfully they make people laugh, they should moderate on the level of the comedy not to rouse up something controversial.

  Sep 4 2010: It's so amazing there are a number of creatures existing in each different area of the world including tops of the mountain, in the desert, in the one of the deepest forest and the bottom of the ocean. I was told before every countries can't be placed on the top position not untill they keep there own culture such as country's own belief like a philosophy, traditional food, and their nature as we saw above. Because without the effort to keep their own something that have been inheriting for hundreds and thousands years, they're not the people anymore as they've been called. Personally, I hope we can find one of the well preserved place of nture in Korea in the next time.
