Sep 23 2011: Allot of you 'talk' allot, wow ! You reason, then, you reason why? then you reason why,you reasoned why? NUTZ. I knew people, well you saw Eddie Murphy do it in a movie.Who,"dress up,to be a 'bum'",Then go to the subway and look' in need',what really works good is a dummy cast, and or bandages.Stuffing cotton between gums and lips a must for that,"just beat up" look.Personally I give to the street urchin, the bum.Big Charities end up giving ten cents on the dollar collected,by law they must give that.Got to,buy,...the food, boxes, trucks, shiping costs, gas, food for all the free workers, salaries of the 'staff',lawyers etc. They ain't free.I've had some drunk bums,in NYC give me some lip too,I took out five bucks and said, see, see this I was just going to give it to you,now,... for being fresh you get nothing."Oh,I'm sorry,I'm sorry, please forgive me,god will bless you,please,please",,...NO ! " OK,Don't you cheep so and so,drop dead, die you F**K." Then,I took out a Ten Spot,...see,see this? This was almost yours, now you get nothing,nothing."...."Oh,please god, please forgive me etc." NO !..."Good,Die you Rat.",..I turned said,"You don't learn do you?" He said:"F**K -en,DIE.".I laughed at his attitude, and threw him the TEN SPOT.....He smiled,said....OK don't die. I said "thanks".

Aug 12 2011: Chris,All World governments are "fronts" for the real power brokers.Plans for the next 500 years have been made already. You 'see' life only in your lifetime. These EMPIRE BUILDERS started with Jefferson.Europeans came and stole a continent. Then started an Empire.Your 80 years or so means little to them. The future is set. There will be a NWO,and in 500 years will be humming. One planet one people, going into the universe.Population control.not using wars anymore, will be done at birth, without your knowledge.1000 years from now is too set, though not in stone.Look where the USA has gone in 230+ years. And now with computers in the next 230+ years??? WOW.

Aug 12 2011: Dear ME,Anything that we,the public are told or shown as "A new idea" has been in Big Brothers Books for years. And is already being used.History shows us this. This ALL did not start in your life span.WE the common man/woman/person are "kept' at our workers level. What will happen has already been decided ala The Bilderbergers and such.Where ever you think all of this tech. is going?????? sorry but we are already there.

May 25 2011: It is amazing to me how uneducated so many of you are.A person can "Make" a topic "Lean" in the direction,he or she wants, just like a politician. Please,FIRST,GOOGLE,"Global warming",understand it is NOT at all what you think it is,learn, then yak."Blue fin tuna are 50% down etc." Yeah,in ONE reefed area in St.Croix.NOT world wide.Yeah,4 shrimp, and ALL of the overkill, photo. What crap !the "overkill fed"other fish in the area, and would have, anyway. The other 200 nets full were mostly shrimp,BUT he DID NOT want it to "LOOK" that way.Al Gore's famous,Jelly fish are on the rise photo,300% more, and at this rate etc.yak,yak,yak.BUT,..the ocean,at that time of year is ALWAYS LIKE THAT,a seasonal thing. The rest of the year it's not.ALL LIES,well really not a lie,......BUT a "BENT"truth.Google,"Shark population Worldwide."They are in NO danger. These people manipulate, photos and half truths,to disguise what they want you to believe. And people "BUY IT",and you mentally numb or something????WE ARE NOT,killing the Earth. It can and if need be ,survive us,and go on.Google,Polar Flux, movement and melting Ice.Learn that on a "LARGE" scale WE can desalinate ocean water, fresh water was"NEVER" a problem.LEARN,that WE have ALL of the OIL that we will ever need. The "LEVELS" that are depleting, are what we have pumped, and in reserve. If WE mined ALL of the DIAMONDS that are available, wood ,would cost more. The same with OIL.Find OUT for yourselves,I did.Brian Skerry is a photographer period,He WANTS to make an impact, sound important he manipulates the truth, like a political professional,vote,...shut up !

  • A comment on Conversation: What has been your most exciting, most pivotal, most life-changing "museum moment"?

May 19 2011: Well,I grew up 9 blocks from MOMA,I was with my girlfriend Ethel,we were in love, and we were both 10 years old.It was 1956,a freezing Wednesday afternoon. So to be alone, and warm we walked to the MOMA.In those days the place was empty. You could hear the guards footsteps so they were not a problem. We went to the awninged bed of Louis the IV,or V,Red silk, and hopped on,BANG......no matress,it was 'wood'.Anyway we lied down and kissed, our first kiss. Then we looked at each other,,"Thats it"??? we did not think it was such a big deal,so we went to look at the art work, and the knights in armor................Nothing to do?I'd walk to MOMA,4 times a week for years.Age 12 to16,every day,I lived there, knew the place like the back of my hand. You could blindfold me,top of the staircase, say Dali, the Crusifiction, and I would lead you right to it.First floor same thing.I felt like it MOMA was mine.THEN,more and more people started coming.Hundreds of them,it was horrible.By 1966,the place was a zoo,to crowed,I'd go to the Gugenheim,or Natural history,or one of the others. Then I went to The Arts Students League,to paint every day. After classes, you could paint in the MOMA,had to go to the office first, you could not copy to scale,I would just pick some figures and make up my own. Some you could not even sit by.I lived 4 blocks from the Gugenheim,1966,my second apartment,I would go to them every day,you meet some interesting people there,it was part of my life. The Rembrant room, the impressionists rooms, the moving 12 foot high, gold wire star. The rooms with the furniture, and beds, like they originally were in 1500's New Amsterdam, and in France a 1600'sblue silk walled bedroom.,2nd floor, back left. The Knights, swords, spears, and that ali baba sword with the golf ball emerald on the hilt,1st floor back right. The mummy, the Egyptian room down stairs, always felt strange vibes in there.100th street,& 5th Ave,Museum of the City of New York,is a real good one.Now I live on MAUI,and now I miss them.
