Shanghai born, Richard Hsu followed his family to Hong Kong, then in his teens with his brother and parents, moved to France and Luxembourg.
Hsu lived average of 11 years in 5 places :

In 2003, HSU came back to China, he opened Wieden+Kennedy"s China office. In 2006, he opened a brand consultancy company [h+ branding] in Shanghai focusing on China related projects.
Richard Hsu lectures regularly in the subjects of design, branding, multi-disciplinary thinking at Tongji University's graduate school of Design and Innovation.
Since January of 2010, Hsu and [h+ branding] divide their time in 3 areas :
