An idea worth spreading

Only problem that India has to overcome in order to become a global power is driving away the fear from the minds of Indians .Large population of India is poor and employed in the sector which require physical handwork.If these people start to dream and stop acting as monkey they will realize their potential and contribute to national development.
India's education system is" the worse"They don't educate but create slaves. Course material is fact based ,no concept are taught in depth,the idea is they want a student to involve in all things but not master a single thing.

  A comment on Conversation: Who do you trust more to help you understand world events, the press, politicians or your friends/family, or someone/something else? Why?

  Apr 27 2011: Steven Levitt in his book freakonomics answered this question, and believe me there isnt any source that could offer 100% true news. People twist fact to match their theory of interest.

• A comment on Conversation: THORIUM. Is it really that safe and great alternative to Nuclear? Is it the Other Miracle that Bill Gates is looking for?

  Mar 19 2011: I think Thorium is an excellent fuel but unlike what you heard that waste could be used to make bomb is not true. Waste could be used to refuel the reactor.
  
  Extensive research on this field have being going on in India.
  
  India has the world's second largest thorium reserves, and thorium can be used to build "breeder" reactors (which produce more fuel than they consume) and lead to self-sufficient power generation.

  Mar 17 2011: Yes exactly, but the only difference will be that it would be better than TED in many ways(I am not being cocky but its quite natural that one has to do better than what older generation did). It would contain a plethora of information in video, text, animation and above all tools to foster creativity so that users could not only learn but apply what they learnt(Hands on learning).
  
  I guarantee you that such type of school would revolutionize education, the way we learn.
  But as moon isn't perfect, my models has some flaw which i could not see but you can.
  Please let me know if any.
  I want it to be perfect so that future generation will get what they deserve!

  B) Digitilizing this model into computer language
  C) Create a virtual envirnoment using google sketch up!
  D) Requesting university's for their valuable contribution
  E) Winning the confidence of people

  Thanks for appreciating this concept, i have gone through the details of this idea and i know exactly how make it a reality. But as you could imagine, this is a mighty idea(replacing old university with virtual avatar based, super awesome teacher powered virtual university) and it requires some real hard work.
  These are the areas i have to work,
  A) Figuring out the best possible model.
  B) Digitilizing this model into computer language
  C) Create a virtual envirnoment using google sketch up!
  D) Requesting university's for their valuable contribution
  E) Winning the confidence of people
  
  Now please let me know in which phase you might be able to contribute to this idea.

  Mar 15 2011: In immediate Future i think the probability of micro stories replacing novels is quite sleek.
  
  when one reads,he/she is transported to the world of author's imagination. Readers live the story.Cry in adversity, laugh on jokes, thrilled on murder, amazed by resolving mystery. This is essence is very hard to capture in micro stories and movies.
  
  BUT......................
  
  On the other hand, Tech is moving at the mind blowing rate and its highly possible that one might come up with a tech which makes it possible to experience the same feelings in much smaller time. Reading(or whatever it may be called) will be much more efficient and productive.
  And believe me this time is not far away but not in immediate future at least!!
