Jan 22 2012: hone their talents and let them discover what they really want and not what their family or society expects them to be...it's really important for me to realize this. i was young once and will always be and what keeps me staying in this attitude is my passion for the things i love to do most.
Dec 16 2011: i myself observed afghans in a football match here in delhi last dec.7 between afghanistan and bhutan.i am here for an internship program for my company. Afghans were among us in the stadium and they were such huge fan of the sport. I was observing these people all throughout the game and i was amazed at how tightly-knit they are in terms of their own community. i was keen to observe a greeting they have when they saw a friend or someone, they use the beso-beso we know for men, on both cheeks, and when they introduce someone new or older, they had this gesture of putting their right hand in their heart.it was such a sweet and nice gesture of respect from these people whom the world has known to be rebels and worst, terrorists. the world has much to know about the afghans not on the negative side but on how beautiful their people are.
it was such a coincidence i received this notification from TED.com and im glad to share my experience with afghan people.
