More About Me

I'm passionate about

Life. It is beautiful, fascinating, haunting and exciting, when you think about it.

An idea worth spreading

Ideas don't change the world. Actions do!

Talk to me about

The Internet, marketing, personal branding, advertising, creativity, gadgets, psychology, law of attraction, thoughts and feelings, human potential, future and the pasts, TED, etc., etc.

People don't know that I'm good at

I know I might come across as a total city dwelling geek, but I am great at travelling and camping! I even earned Lithuania's Traveller status when I was younger.

My TED Story

I found this website around 2007 and got hooked - I was watching TED Talks on my iPod each night for several hours and I believe that I have watched all talks available back then, it did not matter whether I understood it to the fullest or not, whether it was on physics or business. I also believe this habit has massively contributed to my understanding of others, myself and the world, as I was only 17 years old when I started watching TED. I continued to watch TED Talks throughout the years, follow events and projects. By mid 2011 I became TED Translator, where I translate talks to Lithuanian. I believe that TED Talks should be shown in schools, public meetings, etc., so it is vital they are subtitled as not everyone has fluent access to another language. So I hope that translated talks will spread even more in my home country Lithuania. This is how I contribute to ideas worth spreading.
