More About Me

I'm passionate about

poetry, a great book, good music, and people who treat other people with respect and kindness.

An idea worth spreading

My father's advice was "Be flexible." My mother's advice was "Spend less than you earn." My maternal grandfather's rules for good living were 1) Act your age; 2) Keep your eyes on the ball, and 3) Tend to your own knitting. Add the Ten Commandments, and you have a good set of behaviors for life.

Talk to me about

your life and your experiences.

People don't know that I'm good at

keeping track of north, south, east, and west.

My TED Story

With a nod toward TED, my TED story is I appreciate the comic pages in the newspaper. Why? For their art (design), for the technology involved (reductions, etc.), and for the reflection of human interaction (power plays, personal relationships, humor, politics,etc.).
