About Me

French, born and bred. Moved to Ireland when I was 19, loved it and decided to stay a bit longer... 10 years on, well, I'm still there! Also lived in Poland and the Czech Republic teaching English as a foreign language for a couple of years.
Now based in Belfast where I live with my partner. I work as a language teacher and also do freelance translation.
As for where or what next, not so sure, I go one step at a time...
I have tons of hobbies.. here are a few:
baking brownies, circus and acrobatics, singing, yoga, taking pictures, swimming and pretending to be a fish, reading graphic novels, making things out of clay, watching films, making collages, and of course watching talks on TED!

More About Me

I'm passionate about

languages (syntax, socio-linguistics, etymology etc.)

An idea worth spreading

Keep an open mind to change! It's the most constant thing in life; we should embrace it as opposed to fear and avoid it.

May 13 2013: From my point of view, this video is quite useful because it gives us some practical tips and also encourages us to start to learn such a nice language. She does, moreover, give the speech in an amusing and engaging way. All in all, after watching this video, I would be keen to take up a new language.
