About Frances

Bio

Frances Bronet is Dean of the School of Architecture and Allied Arts at the University of Oregon. She came to the UO in 2005 after 20 years at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York. She served as President of the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture (ACSA) in 2001-2002. She received a Bachelor of Engineering and a Bachelor of Architecture from McGill University and a graduate degree in Architecture from Columbia University. Her work crosses architecture, engineering and dance – a true collaborator and interdisciplinarian.
