A comment on Conversation: In 2011, is it possible to make undergraduate and graduate degrees/licenses less expensive and equally available to everyone?

Mar 31 2011: I think that our political shifts happening (countries without good quality education raising their international influence) , social skills getting to be of greater value (many times more than the knowledge itself) and the wonder of free knowledge given to us, throught the internet builds up the most interesting opportunity to be "graduated" in something (to study it exactly as good as anyone else in any school or university) in our path making irrelevant the need of a certificate of some kind. As observed here in Brazil, where I live, we have great examples of such people that made their work and life expierience the confirmation of their individual knowledge achievement i.e. Miguel Juliano (architect) and Carlos Tramontina (founder and CEO of Tramontina).
  • A reply on Conversation: What Does the Core of Human Nature Look Like?

Mar 25 2011: I couldn't agree more. The human core, after so many eras of knowledge is exactly what one believes it to be. It is well known that the observer has an impact on the matter and so happens also with all the concepts and/or beliefs one has (such as the answer for this question). The beauty in it is to observe the range of impact that the answer for such "universal" questions reaches on our lives.Just to think what kind of actions would you take or not beacause of such belief.(:

A comment on Conversation: Can we use sound as a link to reconnect with past memories ?

Mar 24 2011: Yes, it is an really interesting area of application of the Neuro Linguistic Programing tools and interpretations on the human mind. Once one is in a relax and concentrated mood, so to say, is possible to connect several areas of your brain and bring even the most subtil details of a certain past situation. An easy-to-do tool that may work is just, litteraly, giving slow steps backwards while you try to remember something. Is easy to find articles on memory related to NLP on the internet in websites such as NLPU's or Robert Dilts'.
