Apr 13 2011: I wanted to be a performer, a wife, a mother, and to touch people's lives in a positive way, among other things. Mostly I just wanted to be accepted and loved for who I was by my family, which wold be a long shot because I always moved outside of the box of conformity. I can positively check off the first three, I have been told that I have done the fourth, am trying to figure out the other things, and am fairly certain that my family will never truly understand - or accept - who I am because I just cannot stay inside the box.
Apr 13 2011: No, it i never too late....if your dream is calling to you then you owe it to yourself to follow it, especially at your age. What a deep seeded desire in your soul for it to still be calling out to you. I am sure that now, 50 years later, you can find an organization that is in allignment with your beliefs and that would embrace you as part of their community. May your new road shine brightly, and lead you on the adventure of a lifetime.
