My first encounter with TED was total coincidence. I saw a clip by Derek Severs talking about flipping facts upside-down and getting full-blown reversed points of view. Truly, it was great revealing presentation and left really a deep impression on me. At that point, I really thought "it's more that worth spreading; it's something I should be actively spreading myself!" and I joined the translation team. In fact, it was a kind of the start of virtuous circle to me; since then, I watch more presentations to come up with what to translate or review and, by doing that, I get more exposure to ideas worth to be mesmerized. Now, I am thinking to organize some TED event myself someday!
