  • A comment on Talk: Nilofer Merchant: Got a meeting? Take a walk

May 6 2013: The only problem I see with this is how to take meeting notes and record ideas :p
  • A comment on Talk: Juan Enriquez: Will our kids be a different species?

Jun 11 2012: I guess we are guessing too much. I mean printing an organ might just be a potential. Organ rejection is so prevalent that these organs might not even help a body for long. What seems encouraging is that humans are trying to explore at large lengths and depths still nature's law is also evolving and progressing much faster. There would always be uncertainty and mystery, that's the spice of life.

A comment on Talk: Michael Norton: How to buy happiness

Apr 25 2012: My dad recently became eternal. All his life he used to do this. I guess the compassion and selflessness which is attached with the act is what brings happiness. Though you expect nothing in return but it does pay off in form of better relations and therefore, the other person also goes out of the way to help u. Even God helps you through people or otherwise. That's my dad's magnificient life story :)

However, I am just concerned that when people would know causal effect of spending on others on your happiness then if we would start spending on others while expecting something in return, we would not be happy and also act selfish. Therefore, some variables are needed to be established. More than that, it is the act of giving which should provide us happiness and not the other things :)

A comment on Talk: Taryn Simon: The stories behind the bloodlines

Apr 25 2012: This project is ingenius because it has capacity for inquiry and discussion beyond the work but would arise from the work. What we do of the information which is arising out of these stories and themes? However, this art piece and also the talk seems to be more philosophical than humane and compassionate.

A comment on Talk: Lucy McRae: How can technology transform the human body?

Apr 25 2012: Is she the inspiration for Lady Gaga?
  • A comment on Talk: Laura Carstensen: Older people are happier

Apr 25 2012: Yes older people are more thankful and easy-going. They are more compassionate and crave to both give and receive love and care. However, I believe their quality of life will only be improved if the society is more inclusive. If there are platforms and programs where they can actively participate and if society gives them the importance they deserve. They should also be provided with better health facilities and security.
  • A comment on Talk: Peter Saul: Let’s talk about dying

Apr 9 2012: Death is inevitable. Do you think we can actually decide how people would die because I believe these things are already written? Moreover, should not it be a family decision?

A comment on Talk: Kathryn Schulz: Don't regret regret

Mar 3 2012: I have unconsciously following thisI guess everyone doesand then go back to regretting about which we need to be conscious. When it completely consumes us, we should stop and learn to stop regretting that decision/action/thought. Pain is not ugly always, it can also be sweet and bring fond memories :)
  • A comment on Talk: Kevin Allocca: Why videos go viral

Mar 3 2012: The proof of the fact that everyone needs something to relax or just waste sometime. I wish TED was more viral :)
  • A comment on Talk: Sheikha Al Mayassa: Globalizing the local, localizing the global

Feb 9 2012: I believe critical thinking and being at peace within without any pressure (self-imposed, personal biases or societal) is more important than the product of it, either continuing existing practices or evolving new ones. Arts gives us a platform to think and feel that way :)
