About Me

Maya, organizer of TEDxTelAviv and TEDxLowerEastSide conferences, is a serial Internet entrepreneur and an enthusiastic New Media Entrepreneurship educator. By the age of 30, she has built four successful Internet ventures, the most recent of which is Quotes Daddy (quotesdaddy.com), a social quotes site with the largest online archive of famous quotes.

Since 2006, Maya teaches New Media Entrepreneurship in the International MBA Program and in the Sam Zell Entrepreneurship Program, at the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya, a private university in Israel, as well as lectures at leading universities in Israel and abroad.

Maya served as Lieutenant in Israel's Defense Forces for two years between 1996 and 1998. During her army service she headed the Social Adaptation branch in the Psychological Qualification Unit.
