What are the advantages/disadvantages of learning models that exist outside of traditional educational institutions?
There are other management programs that are taking place here, which are enterprise driven. the focus is on building an individual in the two years of management education. Students start their own organisation when they are doing their management education, and learn concepts of management while building the organisation. Our startup is a result of this exercise and this methodology of learning. More about the pedagogy : http://www.nitie.edu/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=782&Itemid=423&lang=en i dont want to advertise hence not posting the startup link here

Jeff Han: The radical promise of the multi-touch interface
The best part of this interactive technology is that it is very intuitive.. and conforms more or less to the natural way in which we human beings work or interact... If this is very cheap then it could aid in being a powerful tool to teach and train kids, professionals, and would act as a real life simulator in times of crisis...

Anil Gupta: India's hidden hotbeds of invention
I have been following Anil Sir for the last three years and since the time I first heard him at IIT-Bombay, I fell in love with all the things that he has done.. simply fantabulous..The readers should also try to learn more about his Shod Yatras at IIM and one day I'll also be a part of it.. I personally feel that there is a still a vast disparity between rural-urban landscapes and a lot of sharing needs to happen between each other.. But thank you Sir, for being so truthful

Gary Vaynerchuk: Do what you love (no excuses!)
I think the dumb VCs from all over the world should take your advice.... They go on to th extent of killing almost any thing by asking stupid questions "what's your delivery mechanism?, how do you propose to scale up"? and all that mumbo-jumbo.. and most of whom i met i simply said "by working"... and i never want to meet them again... thanks so much Gary... i personally will put this killer video to every student and to everyone who intends to do something worth in his/her lifetime....

Ken Robinson: Do schools kill creativity?
Gosh, Sir Ken Robinson is so very good.. I wish our Indian Government ropes him in to re-think our Indian education system, which is becoming more of a commodity than anything else... Thank you so much Sir., thank you TED.

Gary Flake: Is Pivot a turning point for web exploration?
What he has done here is something that IBM started doing years before and I think this is more or less a Datamining tool.. which may help enterprises or organisations to have good DSS.. I wish they could support WinXP too..but MS wants to dump Vista to consumers..any ways this is good example for "what is datamining?" ..
