A comment on Talk: Eric Sanderson pictures New York -- before the City

Feb 20 2010: I feel it really honored that my first ever piece of ted translation has been adopted. Hopefully this talk can be available to those Chinese audience while they may dig the key points out of this fabulous combination of modern cartography, landscape biography and urban planning ideas that may build a new and significant aspect in the phase of China's undergoing large-scale urbanization. Can we build a city without taking into consideration about the balance between the city and the existed natural landscape? The work is therefore not only benefitial to historical research, but also the future of city design. To some extend, the program itself is indeed a looking glass, and new city founders are supposed to look into it and think it over.

  • A comment on Talk: Pranav Mistry: The thrilling potential of SixthSense technology

Jan 15 2010: really impressive idea. i mean the re-application of principles in this technology just makes sense in promoting the human manipulation function while the principles are not at all difficult to understand! pls the presentation is awsome in terms of its combined illustration of both the technology and how it came into being. I just feel like going through the whole logical sequence and finally realise that "yeah he really did it, and the logic wholly fits!" That's incredibly inspiring and reminds me of a report about the introduction of like-this technology in the filming of Avatar.
Finally, my questions rise here that how can the system save the files and then remove it to another real desktop? what will enable the code conversions between systems (particularly with the exsiting one)? just curious about that and look forward to ur new progress in this program! XD
