I'm passionate about sociolinguistics, translation and second language acquisition. Pretty hardcore. My friends hate me as I always want to discuss languages and identities. I'm obnoxious.
Ruling the world. You don't know it yet, but you will.
One of my flatmate told another one of my flatmate about TED, and she told me. We then decided to watch a random talk with another one of my flatmate (I know, I have way too many flatmates, it's confusing me and I don't distinguish them anymore), which was about sync. i found it very interesting and watched another talk about creativity and how we should follow different paths in teaching. I loved that talk ( I wish I could be a teacher one day). The next day I was in class at uni ( translation theory class) and one of my classemates told me, out of blue, that she was translating TED's talks and she asked me if I knew what it was... I thought it was destiny. I've finally found my path. My ultimate goal in life is becoming a TED translator. And yeah, well, I guess I also want my italian buddies to understand these talk because I think they are amazing and that they should watch them and broaden their horizons.
