Oct 31 2012: Douglas Thomas and John Seely Brown in their recent book "A New Culture of Learning" assert:
Give a man a fish and feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish and feed him as long as the fish supply holds out.
But create a collective, and every man will learn to feed himself for a lifetime.
In other words there are a limit to the number of fish, but a collective learning together can find their own solutions.
