Jan 10 2013: I like the term biomutualism, when human species is able to co-exist with other species with a positive feedback , miracle can happen. I think Chinese philosophy "Dao" or "Tao" implies when what you do confirm with the law of universe , then with "Dao or Tao" there will be authentic growth and prosperity in the truest sense. In this sense, "no man is an island' is what we should be aware of in order to live in harmony in this universe.
Sep 26 2011: Unfortunately your lecture is not based on historical facts but your established cultural and historical bias. You sounds like a politician rather than a historian, trying gilbly to justify western colonialism based on your deceptive eloquence and on your fake academic assumption. I am truly sorry for your students who would be hookwinked and under the flow of history with an ingrained bias.
May 26 2011: Everybody is talking about changing the world but nobody talks about changing its own self. If you think that you can change the world, it would be wise to change yourself in the first place as a start. If everybody changes his or her ways of doing things, the world will be a better place. However, the world can only be changed by its own adjustment. Human beings are only a transient visitor on this earth and are only one of the many species that lives on earth. Poetry can only give you an illusion that human beings are capable of changing the world, and that illusion is what makes you feel great and powerful even though it is just the opposite.
May 26 2011: talking about whether who can save the world itself is wrong. Because the world cannot be saved by anyone except the world itself. Never try to save the world because it is too far beyond the power of mankind. the world can only be saved by itself, by its own adjustment. when an adjustment occurs, mankind suffers. If mankind wants to suffer less, man must adjust their own behavior and ways of doing things.
May 18 2011: Please be thankful to the speaker who shared his idea with us and please do not ask for more if the speaker prefers to keep mum on that issue, if we ask for something very specific then no one would dare to share his idea, it is only thought such an interaction that we grow in wisdom. What is valuable in the speech is the idea, a looming future, if we want it now, that we should all work toward it.
