Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in Human Science at Saybrook University in San Francisco, California. My concentration area is Social Transformation, and I have completed additional certificates in "Building a Sustainable World" and "International Conflict Resolution".
I see my role in the future as primarily as an educator. I have been fortunate enough to travel extensively, in varying capacities; as student, teacher, volunteer, etc., developing a love of language, culture, people. Teaching doesn't necessarily need to be done in a classroom, of course. While I would love to do curriculum development and design Peace Education courses/programs in regions that are undergoing conflict transformation, I can also envision myself working for a grassroots NGO, doing community education and training.
Peace, travel, culture, language, books, films, good food, sustainability, getting people engaged in life
"It has always seemed strange to me that in our endless discussions about education so little stress is laid on the pleasure of becoming an educated person, the enormous interest it adds to life" (Edith Hamilton)
