About Me

I was born in 20aug1973.
So, you already have my age, my zodiacal sign and the right date for giving me a nice gift, yearly.

I graduated in Computer Sciences in 1997, but never worked with computers, deciding to deal with something much more complex and diffcult: people. Then I studied Public Relations and took post-graduation courses in the Tourism Marketing and in Environmental Tourism, also known as Ecotourism.

I have been working as a Training and Development professional for the past 14 years, mainly in the corporate world, both for Human Resources division and for Sales and Marketing teams. The last 5 years I directed my career to be an Outdoor Educator and a Experiential Learning consultant.

I personally believe that technology nowadays are driving the world for multiple social connections, while at the same time, the individual must connect with yourself and the real planet also through something that doesn't require electricity or gadgets: the real wilderness ! The outdoor route leads to the inward growth!

I like good music, cinema and art. I am proud of being Brazilian and of our diverse culture. I love my sisters and nephews and nieces and brothers-in-law.

I believe in God, in a God who is believable!

A comment on Talk: Simon Sinek: How great leaders inspire action

May 12 2010: He starts by mentioning "defying all the assumptions". However, he uses lots of his own assumptions to sustain his speech, what made me suspect about the worthlessness of everything that came after it!
He still believes the Wright brothers "beat all competitors" in the race to invent "control powered, manned flight"? Has Simon ever heard about Alberto Santos-Dumont?
Has Simon ever heard that the world is like the planet, or in other words, is bigger than USA? So, the USA's history is NOT the history of the world? Doesn't he know it? Doesn't he know that their allegedly first-flight was never documented by third-part witnesses?
And he continues: "Orville and Wilbur were driven by a cause, by a purpose, by a belief".
What ?? Doesn't he know that, because the Wright brothers wanted to register a patent not only over the airplane, but over all the flying-possibilities, this put all the USA's aircraft industry on a hold for YEARS? All they pursued was: MONEY and MONOPOLY!
    What a cause!
