Elizabeth Loftus: How reliable is your memory?
Your insight is profound! And appreciated. If the client has entered a state in which their own agency is as exhausted as they can interpret being, and in seeing the therapist is actively seeking help, and even this is exhausting the little energy they have in an effort to achieve what they can for their betterment. What then? How do they bring themselves up without the guidance you are cautious to divulge? True question Mr. Townsend.

There is a great radiolab talk on the effects of people who actually believed that they had dated auto bots online. These bots were implanted to improve statistics between ratios of one sort of client seeking another sort. It's terribly interesting and I do hope you google radiolab and search for it. I think you would find it interesting how much these bots effected the lives, hearts, an emotions of living breathing humans

Elizabeth Loftus: How reliable is your memory?
This is something I would be desperately interested in. Imagine healing people through reframing fear about a traumatic experience into something more. This is what should be. If you are indeed a therapist your patients must be so grateful. It's as if you play the role of a kindly angel.

Elizabeth Loftus: How reliable is your memory?
I have been subjected to mental experimental ideas where the progressivity of science has trumped the value of human experience. I say this very personal bit to allow you to see that I don't mean to be sarcastic when I ponder some of the experiences Loftus has encountered along her past, especially being as ingrained as she is in this form of study: that it is plausible that some of her own memories have been ingrained, be they the pleasant thought of a mother teaching her about the scent of flowers or much darker things. Hopefully none as dark as the Italian study engraining a human mind to recall demonic possession. This is a very delicate tool which I hope only to be used for good. It would be a pity if its developers ended up with the guilt Nobel never dreamed of when he first hypothesized practical uses for dynamite. Be kind. Ingrain good if you must ingrain at all. This is potentially devastating, I hope not.

Kevin Breel: Confessions of a depressed comic
Thank you Kevin for speaking out in an effort to explain something people don't want to believe. It's like that the world is round. I hope someday something will compel others to recognize the reality of this mental place of existence. The stigma can be more hurtful than the depression at times and its unfortunate. You're brave, and I salute you.
