A comment on Conversation: Secure universal human rights through the demonopolization of governments.

Feb 16 2011: YES! They wouldn't be around for long if they had to compete. Their idea is to profit from the people, not to offer better services.
  • A comment on Conversation: What is a company Brand and how does a company develop or add to it?

Feb 16 2011: A company brand is an organization that can source or manufacture a product at rock bottom price due to buying high volume and the cheapest available labor. They must also spend approximately 20-25% of the retail price on selling that product to you. OR a brand is originally set up by an individual who has vision, skills and a head for business, this type is usually purchased by the first kind once the annual turnover reaches £5,000,000.

A comment on Conversation: Can people who deny science be educated? How?

Feb 16 2011: Yes of course you can change their way of thinking, it is called brainwashing (maybe they have already suffered this). To change, you need only teach those individuals that already have a strong belief in what they are studying and not to those who study a subject merely to re-affirm their own beliefs.
  • A comment on Conversation: The west can no longer claim to be an honest broker in the search for peace in the Middle East.

Feb 16 2011: I think it has definitely exposed the blatant hypocrisy, not only with the West with the Middle East, but also the West with its own population. Surely a shift in the right direction.
  • A comment on Conversation: Should Governments start to measure what really matters to people - their happiness? Or should they stay out of such a private matter?

Feb 16 2011: Is this just another window for the government to monitor public reaction to what they impose on everyone?

They do not have the capability of acting in the interest of the people. This antiquated system of government has already failed several times over, yet they still hang in there coining in the public's money and squandering it on poor ideas and selling them to the public as a "good thing"
We don't need their "good ideas" we actually need them to stop having ideas and start to action real issues. There are people living without shelter in the UK. Is that O.K? Is this how this government is to prioritize its actions? How far down the list of "good ideas" is to house the homeless? That's just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to REAL issues.

A comment on Talk: PW Singer on military robots and the future of war

Dec 6 2009: I do not support war in any way, but that was a great talk. If war is going this way then we may as well dedicate an arena for it and they can go head to head in a safe environment for the public as well as the controllers. Whichever robots are still standing are the declared winners, or does the gene really need to see blood to be satisfied. In the real world with super-robots you could hunt and hit up to a dozen people to win any war, I wonder if any leaders would be so quick to declare war when that is the case. :)
