About Me

Emma Archer is the Director of Cultural Programs at the French-American Foundation which include conferences, leadership and professional exchanges and awards programs. She also oversees the French Campus initiative, a professional exchange for French and American university professionals and academics. Before joining the Foundation, Ms. Archer worked for former French Minister of Culture, Jack Lang. She has been active in the cultural media, working for the Cinema Department of ARTE, the Franco-German Cultural Channel, and participating in the launching of a cultural television program for Paris Première. She has worked in various capacities for the editorial departments of LeMonde.fr, Le Figaro and The Wall Street Journal and has organized several artistic projects including an exhibition featuring young contemporary artists from the Ecole Nationale des Beaux Arts whose works were shown at the Palais de Tokyo (Paris) in June 2003. Ms. Archer obtained a master’s degree from Sciences-Po Paris, a graduate degree from New York University in Museum Studies and a B.A. in Economics and Management from l’Université Paris IX-Dauphine. She was elected Secretary of the Sciences-Po Alumni U.S.A. Board of Directors in may 2008 and represents the Association with the New York Business Schools Graduates Club (NYBSC).
