  • A comment on Talk: Erik Hersman on reporting crisis via texting

Jun 19 2010: Another great example just happened in Iran after the presidential election in summer 2009, when the huge protests against regime arose, and the government banned all the journalists to report the clashes on streets, the " Street Journalism" emerged. The mobile phones gave people the opportunity to report almost everything.

Imagine streets full of protesters while almost everyone of them holding a mobile phone, recording, text messaging and tweeting all events. It was like their weapon against the actual weapons of the armed forces.

And it worked, the whole world was aware of what's going on in Iran. The video of the young woman called "Neda" who was killed in the streets of Tehran, was just an example for that.

A comment on Talk: Viktor Frankl: Why to believe in others

May 22 2010: Fantastic speech! while living in a religious society, where being religious is mandatory and you don't have any other choice, I have totally noticed how most of the people don't have motivation for searching for the meaning of the life and how dispirited they are.

Those people think they've already reached that meaning, and that's the worst thing that can happen to humanity which prevents them from moving forward and developing their mind.

That "Searching" is exactly the spark, which leads to developing our minds.
