About Me

I was born in the beautiful South of Spain :-) I have a B.A. in Translation and Interpretation (English and German to Spanish) and I took specialization courses on legal and technical translation. I am also an educator and I have a M.A. in Pedagogy and Language Teaching. I have lived in the U.S. (California and Vermont) and in several locations in Germany (Berlin, Nürnberg and Essen). I have volunteered for some organizations, like The Riley Center (San Francisco) which is an organization against domestic violence, and Casa do Caminho (www.casadocaminhobrasil.org), that protects and shelters children in Brazil. I have been helping Casa do Caminho for 4 years now and I am really proud of what the director, Bart Bijen, and all the team have made with the orphanage in just a few years. I also love Buddhism and I spent some months attending teachings and volunteering at the Tse Chen Ling Center for tibetan buddhist studies in San Francisco. I am currently living in Barcelona, Spain, but I don't know how long I will be here for! I move a lot and I love it!
