More About Me

I'm passionate about

Music, movies, literature and Internet.

An idea worth spreading

Once in a while, every musician or music band should release a music album (that does not compromise on quality) for free using the Internet. They can still benefit financially by doing stage shows featuring the songs from this album. Blogswara (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blogswara) is my first step towards this dream.

Talk to me about

Music, movies, technology, people, cultures, countries, art - life in general.

My TED Story

I have watched some TED shows on You Tube. Truly inspiring event. Imagining myself on a TED show, sharing my ideas is a day dream now. :-)

A reply on Talk: Jessica Jackley: Poverty, money -- and love

Oct 22 2010: Population control, education are all necessary tools but you cannot just tell somebody who is asking for a loan with which they can improve their lives, who may not be in a state to go back to schools or to kill their 8 or 10 children (population control!), you can't tell them, "go and come back after education and then I will give you a job". And what is your idea of "education"? Going to schools alone can educate people? That can only qualify people man, not necessarily educate them.

In one word, appreciate or grow up!

A reply on Talk: Jessica Jackley: Poverty, money -- and love

Oct 22 2010: Agreed that she brings in Jesus now and then (but Dawkins spent a whole talking session to preach Atheism too, this girl wasn't converting people at least), towards the end she becomes emotional and all that, but you cannot ignore her message.

The philosphical BS that people put in even when it is not needed is kinda sickening these days. On a philosophical plain, she might be living off her guilt that she feels for the poor. But what the heck, on a philosophical level you are just plain jealous of the space that woman got through her "work" while you sit in front of your computer and thinks you philosophizing alone would save the world. She isn't just dreaming sir, she has converted her dreams and thoughts to action. And unlike many of us armchair activists, including you and me, who would be happy to donate a few dollars to some organization working in 'our favorite areas', she is there working.
