About Me

Born in France, I lived there my entire life before moving to the US in 2006. I've lived in New York City, Indianapolis (IN) and I am now based in Providence, RI. I live there with my English-speaking American husband and our two bilingual cats.

After a business degree and a first career in International marketing in France and in the US, I went back to school to study literature. I hold a "licence de lettres modernes" (BA in modern lit) from La Sorbonne and will start graduate school in Comparative Literature in the US in the fall of 2011.

I have been translating part-time for years. Volunteer translation for ted.com and kiva.org is one of my favorite hobbies! I also cook and read a lot, and I am an unapologetic nomad.

Née en France, j'y ai vécu toute ma vie avant de déménager pour les Etats-Unis en 2006. J'ai habité à New York, à Indianapolis dans l'Indiana et suis désormais basée à Providence, Rhode Island (près de Boston). Je vis avec mon mari américain anglophone et nos deux chats bilingues.

Après un diplôme HEC et une première carrière dans le marketing international (en France et aux USA), je suis retournée à l'école pour étudier les lettres. J'ai une licence de lettres modernes de La Sorbonne (à distance) et je commence un programme doctoral aux États-Unis à l'automne 2011.

Je pratique la traduction à temps partiel depuis plusieurs années. Le volontariat pour ted.com et kiva.org fait partie de mes loisirs préférés ! Je cuisine et je lis beaucoup, et je suis une nomade invétérée.
