A comment on Conversation: How should economy system that comes after capitalism look like?

    Feb 3 2012: Good question.
But sincerely, I have no idea ! :)

Somewhat connected with open-source and/or social networks.

A comment on Talk: Ariel Garten: Know thyself, with a brain scanner

Jan 27 2012: It's like trying to explain feelings by limiting them to electric signals.

    Feelings are not reasonable.
You can't deny or control them by reason. You can only try to control their effects.

    They "just" ARE.
Knowing yourself is "accepting" to follow the road to understand why they ARE.

And "acceptation" needs humility because it's about accepting our imperfection
(it touches our EGO, it's something hard to experiment).

I'm convinced our intelligence is 80% of feelings and 20% of reason.
We control the 20% of reason and it's our only path to try to understand the 80% we don't control.

May be you'd be able to understand this 80% and not to change them.
But you can't even expect to change them if you don't understand them.

Personally, I've started this finding with a strange question.

The next time you feel fear, ask yourself :
why am I afraid now ?
  • A comment on Conversation: What is the next big thing?

Oct 19 2011: I'm convinced the next Big Thing will be :

hyper-collaborative structures of organization, based on human networks.

I hope leading to "networked intelligence and wisdom" and finally "networked participative democracy".

A comment on Conversation: Where do you think consciousness comes from?

    Jul 8 2011: It's about beliefs.
If you are atheist, consciousness comes from matter (matter before).
If you are not an atheist, consciousness "exists" without matter (consciousness before).

Personally, after rejecting Religion as an ideology and as an institution (not as a guide to wisdom), Science gave me the intimate conviction that order even in tremendous complexity is organized...

So, it's why I'm still very interested in how Science can explain Near Death Experience (NDE) if "she" is not ideologically afraid...

A comment on Conversation: What's your short story in 6 words? Go!

Jun 30 2011: I just wanna try my best.
  • A comment on Conversation: What is your definition of personal success?

Jun 30 2011: Do what you love and be able to meet your material needs with it.
  • A reply on Conversation: What about the Spanish Revolution?

May 26 2011: I agree with you on the injustice of all these privileges.

    The problem is :
if you do that, they are going to be more corruptable by the rest of the elite (financial elite in particular).

What can you do to stop that ?
Take also the privileges of the others ? Difficult without violence.

I heard that in Brasil Lula has put all financial transactions in control by a software.
Companies used to hide wealth by not paying tax and putting a lot in offshore banks.
With this system it was difficult to hide transactions to Bermudes, Caiman, Switzerland or others.

In my point of vue, it' a great way to keep wealth in your country.
More you have, more you can share.

I've read that Switzerland has 25% of all the World savings.

In the other hand, if you don't do it everywhere your companies are going to be less competitive compare to others.

It has to be a global change.

    What do you think ?
  • A reply on Conversation: What about the Spanish Revolution?

May 26 2011: I'm really sorry to say that, but it's the same everywhere in the rich countries.
I live in France and we have two big partys, PS and UMP.
I've been living in London last year and it's also the same, 2 big partys: Tories and Labour.
Even their symbolic colours are the same (Red, Blue) and if you are lucky there's a third one in Orange :)

Do you think this political party system is define somewhere ?
Try to find a constitution talking about it.

So, as usual the Ego inside Man resulted in creating an elite (after they decided to use this system) and when you have an elite you have corruption.
Few people are easier to corrupt than many.

But are democracia ya trying to find a kind of solution ?

A comment on Conversation: What about the Spanish Revolution?

    May 26 2011: Hi Javier,

I'm really impressed by what's happening in Spain and as an half spanish guy really proud too :)

I've been thinking in how to change this frustrating system for 4 years now. I've read a lot even to know if it wasn't more dangerous to give the power to people by using real representative democracy.

And finally, my conclusion is the same as Socrates :
if the knowlegde and the wisdom of the people is sufficient, real democracy is possible and more or equally efficient as elitists systems like oligarchy, aristocracy or others.

May be I'm wrong but I think Spanish people are looking for a solution but they are frustrated because they don't see a clear.solution.
