Sep 2 2009: I agree that social stimulus and education is very important for people. As Often people are ready to do something good for others just to feel their own importance in solving problems and helping. However that social satisfaction alone can not be enough to guide the society and we really need the capitalistic incentives; therefore I do not think that capitalism is going to be extinct any time soon.

Aug 25 2009: I would say it is quite realistic, like cellphone manufacturers decided on unified chargers. It should work as well if setting this target of standardisation from the beginning.
