Like many here have mentioned, the design of the reactor is not exactly innovative and basically incorporate lots of already present ideas. It's only an impressive talk because it's given by a 19 year old high school student to a non-expert audience. Glorifying Taylor Wilson as a prodigy while he is taking credits for ideas not invented by him is not a good idea, not even for himself. I'd rather hear Taylor Wilson telling us his own story of how he got to design nuclear reactors as a teenager. If we really want to encourage young people to start to follow their passions, then the big idea here should be that even a teenager CAN design nuclear reactors, not that Taylor Wilson is a genius.
