About Me

My name is Paulo Calçada and I live and work in Portugal. All my work and studies are based on new and innovative technologies related with communication, collaborative work and IT platforms, and I'm an evangelist of Open Standards. I've been working on network management and IT platforms for the past nine years. Nowadays, I'm focusing my work on Cloud Computing and its related technologies: virtualization, identity management, management and provisioning platforms, monitoring, etc. As a follow up of this work I've created the CloudViews.Org blog and I was also responsible for the organization of one of the first European Cloud Computing conferences -- 2009.cloudviews.org.
