We are living in a great world, it is our responsibility to sustain this, to make it a better place, not only for ourselves, but all the breeds in the planet, and all the generations in the future.

An idea worth spreading

How could we use a visible computer server in the office, so the employees can be more aware of their working process and knowledge sharing.

Talk to me about

I am always passioned about otl aicher's idea and thinking. His idea is absolutely timeless, in the new age, it is always the challenge to use the new technology to pursue the better life quality.

  • A comment on Talk: Jason Fried: Why work doesn't happen at work

Nov 24 2010: There are some interesting point that he is making, Such as the meeting or the managers are interrupting the workers during their working times. It challenges my though in the very start, but when you take a deep reflection(at least my reflection), it often happen the opposite direction. Maybe it is because I works in a place where people really needs to be synced all the time, but sometimes short interruptions in time can also help to get the work done. Working place also need to be a place where people should be able to exchange their ideas freely, where the peoples thoughts can bump into each other. We should afraid of the interruption, I guess no one intents to disturb anyone for no reasons. We just need to understand why there needs to be a interruption, after all, that what is communication all about. We should just banned the communication just like that, sometimes to talk to each other and find out what we really want to know, can really lead to the creativity.
  • A reply on Talk: Emily Pilloton: Teaching design for change

Nov 8 2010: Hej Emily. Your project is really an eye opening. I am amazed by some of the result you showed during the talk. I am not from U.S. But I can totally relate my self to such a situation, where there are limited resources. But as designer, sometimes, all you need is some faith and a burning heart for improving people's living quality. I believe the time will be the best witness to your beautiful mind.
  • A comment on Talk: Ze Frank's web playroom

Oct 15 2010: Amazing talk. The emotion attachment, that is hiding inside the internet, is yet waiting to be discovered. The world becomes so alive when you start to think, and when you start to connect. I wonder what Ze would do with all the comments on his ted talks?
  • A comment on Talk: Stefano Mancuso: The roots of plant intelligence

Oct 11 2010: Really interesting talk, especially he looks at the plant in an whole different approach, either from the time dimension or to compare the plant root to the computer network. But of cause the most interesting or even more challenged vision is the plantiod, I am looking forward to the first prototype.
  • A reply on Talk: Eben Bayer: Are mushrooms the new plastic?

Oct 4 2010: Nice research. The product has a great deal of potential, just think about how many packaging we are consuming everyday. I like when he talked about, it actually bring something good to the local ecological system, at least it can makes the consumer feel less guilty, if they know that they are bring something good to their great great generation. That is how packaging should have been done in years.

A comment on Talk: Christien Meindertsma: How pig parts make the world turn

Sep 20 2010: Very neat informative talk. Infotainment 8 minutes, I would say. It also bring the awareness to our daily consumption. One of the TED primary goal is to inform the public, and this talk served its purpose perfectly. It is so interesting, that it even brought me to think about, why can we only get this kind of information in TED conference, why can't we know more about the product or the product chain while we are buying it. It might be a bit information overload, but at least it will be nice to have the option.

A comment on Talk: Jessa Gamble: Our natural sleep cycle

Sep 15 2010: Interesting talk and study. Just like the rest of the comments, I think it should be longer, then much more can be told. Modern working have been using the 8 hours so efficient, but sometimes we also forget to pay attention to the sleeping 8 hours(that's if we can sleep for 8 hours). Her study example seems so interesting, it would be even more challenge to see how we apply this method into the normal days.

A comment on Talk: Chris Anderson: How web video powers global innovation

Sep 14 2010: Nice presentation, Chris, When I see you presenting the old event from last years, I feel like traveling back to time and re-experience the talk. The internet can be really a two side blade, if you light it enough, the innovation will just tag alone.
And for all the translators, don't mention it Chris.
