Bio

I'm a field researcher in the Ecology of Health, and theorist in Topologic Ecology. I have dedicated my life to finding the 'basic' options we keep ignoring, to stay healthy, restore our planet's soil and food sources, and reduce the ecological human pressure on all animals, including humans.
To show how this 'basic options' way could work, I need to conduct an experiment - an Experimental Foraging Station, described at:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByBNWxF1cB5odXRmY1BOb0FvZ2s/edit?usp=sharing

This long-term project is entirely different from other solutions tried before, and requires a piece of land 25ha minimum, in Australia or not.

I'm passionate about

I have spent the last 3 years doing field research, travelling around australia, to test and confirm several hypotheses, and look for land to establish my Experimental Foraging Station.

I did look at communities with land. 'Community' still works according to dualistic 'give-&-take' ($ or not), often are plagued by ego/power games. Joining usually REQUIRES to give up one's own view to embrace theirs. Doesn't work for my approach. My experiment has similarities with 'slow movement', 'return to nature', warmer communal mutual-help etc., but the difference is a roadblock. They do not challenge certain principles, e.g that of development -just replace material by mental/personal/spiritual, but still development/activation = on the 'Up'. If one has gone 'up', can go no further and has not gained from going up, then there is no place in a group that aims to go up and spread the word about going up. My approach is not 'up', and does not aim at spreading the word or a model. I have mapped countless of these 'ways' - none can describe what my work points to (no value/evaluation). Just enable some to go another way than up ...and often up so far that hitting the ceiling makes them "fall" 'down'! let individuals find and implement their own 'Way'. Allow it, whether it makes sense to others frameworks and explanations or not. Brian Schaefer: 'neurological deficit' 'remediation program' = that's still de-valuing certain ways of functioning. My approach is to allow those 'failed' social-humans to function their own way, be allowed a place even if they cannot or do not want to be made normal or spiritually raised, without being inflicted 'correction' or forced into "an all-encompassing model that can be applied to any and all fields of science and life." My approach is global, has implications in all domains, but is NOT an 'all encompassing', 'complete' or 'universal' theory or framework - just a practical way to look at what is, allow it to be- in a different way, not excluding or fixing. My Experimental Foraging Station will be run by me, simply as one 'local-case' or example of what could be allowed, enabled. Communal subsistence economy comes later.

I followed Keith's advice and looked at W.Ying's profile. I agree. Found the definition: My take on this is similar: we use our survival mechanisms meant for physical survival in an artificial fix-it manner to "feel better" (without actually changing what makes us feel bad, without freedom-happiness-peace). In other words, we have become ungrounded in physical living. What we call 'health' now is adaptive and only 'not being sick'; it's not a well-functioning body at ease, digesting easily, breathing & sleeping well, well hydrated, etc. I found that this trend began with global warming 15000 years ago or so, and became an auto-reinforcing 'system' that has the habit of crushing physical instincts and suppressing them actively (e.g. need a break from work to look after health, need to stop to breathe...) both in individuals and in collective frameworks of explanation/ exPERIence description. Why? Most of the great cutlures/traditions were developed by populations living (1) in difficult environments (eg budhism in tibet) or (2) over-stimulating environment with too rich food (eg india's sweet fruits, north africa's dates/spice, Africal and its carbohydrate loaded roots,...), and (3) later by populations developing agriculture (eg Euope wheat. Cultures grounded in non-critical (non-SURvival living), living on greens, berries - nourishing watery foods- , nuts/roots in winter, have been systematically eliminated; now it's the turn of individuals in rich societies. I go 'green' & non-critical, non-SUR-vival.

Having land, soil, restored by individuals, without having to pay for it or to exploit the free labour of 'volunteers',+ more effectively.
Vera, thank you for your encouragement. I am sending you by email some summaries of my work, my approach. I looked at your website and the introduction article in Art World News: "understanding the real causes" of our global problems... my research finding about that (and theoretical representation) is very different to that of others, usually inverted, but also complementary. The experimental foraging station I want to establish is not a 'model' for others to follow, but an example of how allowing individuals to find their own solutions can produce what I call 'basic' options, which are systematically ignored, even though they could work in tandem with existing creative ideas. Please see your email.

Keith, thank you for your offer ! I'd like to take you up on your offer. I watched some of your videos, and I like them. In particular, from the one of Pdt Obama opening a solar energy plant: he says ... My idea is to re-create something I hear so many youngsters and older people wish for because it keeps being destroyed and denied, which I call "green HANDS" work, not to "develop" industries that support the wasteful urban ways, not relying on "volunteers" (exploitation of free labour), but working outdoors, with nature, animals, plants = green hands. That is the means to restore access to keeping a sound body rather than have to fix "health", be it with natural and complementary and nutritional methods (all very big business, giving lots of jobs, but also just as wasteful in resources - "adaptive" strategies are always far more costly than maintaining integrity and being unaffected). My project is a drop against the grain of 'development', 'advancement', 'complexity', 'speeding', 'the way up', 'rising', etc., but many of the people i meet in my field research find it to their taste - just that nobodyl has a framework to express and justify it (I developed one in my theoretical work), and nobody has the guts or capacity to say "enough" AND do something about it (or attempt to, because nobody with any influence, being too comfortable, wants to). One way to gain access to land would be exactly... "access to public lands otherwise unused" - but for soil & human health regeneration through "green hands activity" rather than "green jobs". I have this on a website, a submission I wasted my energies writing to a local council, pushed other people. The did not even acknowledge receiving it. May be a utube video might do what I cannot - let people know: there is another option being ignored and crushed. Please contact me directly if possible. Thx
