  • A comment on Talk: The LXD: In the Internet age, dance evolves ...

Oct 7 2010: Hi, I was wondering if there is anyone who knows what music was used for this?
The song that J Smooth is dancing on, in perticular? It starts at 06:26

    Thank you in advance :)
  • A comment on Talk: Debate: Does the world need nuclear energy?

Aug 3 2010: This isn't about pro or contra nuclear energy!
This is AGAIN propaganda about the "problem" co²
    When will this stop?

Soon there will be no co² anymore, and who will be around then? Think, do maths, learn biology for yourselves and then talk about this...

A comment on Talk: Evelyn Glennie: How to truly listen

May 31 2010: OMG! Someone that actually knows that music is dynamic, and ever changing, and has very little to do with the sound itself it produces!
After seeing this talk, I now know(or have an idea on) how Beethoven(he was deaf, right?) made such interesting pieces of music...
Thank you Evelyn for sharing this with us, the "hearing-deaf" people ;)
  • A comment on Talk: Cynthia Schneider: The surprising spread of "Idol" TV

May 31 2010: I had no idea how this "idiot"-show had such an impact on society out of the western world...
If they have such a positive side, we can not do something else than support these shows...
  • A comment on Talk: Bobby McFerrin plays... the audience!

May 28 2010: This video is great, but imho it realy doesn't do him the full credit he deserves. If you don't know this deity, then please do a search on youtube(or something like that) and add Bach(the composer) to it. then you will see what this man is capable of. Pure genius!

A comment on Talk: Gary Vaynerchuk: Do what you love (no excuses!)

Apr 25 2010: This is why I, like so many others, like TED!
Gary is tha bomb! And so true, it's scary ;)
If every person on this planet would do this, there would be worldpeace instantaneously.

I practice this kind of philosofy for almost 10 years now. And what I figured out in this game "life", is that what ever you want from it, you will get it(100% failproof)!
The only difficulty, if you could call it that, is that you; every atom of you, not just those in your head; realy WANT to WILL it, not that you MUST HAVE or HAVE to WANT it.
It's strange and extremely hard to explain, but to me at least, it's my world I live in, not yours, but for you it is just as true as for me, it's your world. I know this sounds esoteric or what ever, but I believe this every second...
  • A comment on Talk: Jesse Schell: When games invade real life

Apr 25 2010: A lot of people find this scary. But then, sorry to assume this now, a lot of them wear clothes from brands. With the brand logo on them, but are they getting paid to do this kind of advertising? If someone would ask if I'd like to get bonus points, coupons, or something of added value for wearing these, I bet all of you would answer the same thing like me.

We all got a desert when we finished our meals when we were little, we all got points at school, that let us pick an education later on, that fits our goals.
The thing with this system is that it has a different look, and most people still think that difference is wrong, bad and out of the question.
The good news is, that we, who do not fear the new, will get the bonus points or extra value from those who do fear it. But then in a more fun way...

A comment on Talk: Elizabeth Gilbert: Your elusive creative genius

    Mar 10 2010: Real wisdom!
    Olé!
  • A comment on Talk: Itay Talgam: Lead like the great conductors

Mar 10 2010: If you love something just give it away, almost nobody knows this but if you do, the 'return on investment' is huge, not to say, vast.
Isn't that something you want to tell people about? I guess so.
It's simplicity is realy great, I'm gratefull to have seen this talk.
  • A comment on Talk: Golan Levin on software (as) art

Mar 10 2010: This guy is, imho, anything but creative.
Its a spectrum analyser with pushbuttons so you can insert pixeldata(from his not so new tablet and pen).
As for 'his' software, I realy doubt he coded the Flash program(for one: his name is not in the credits). The "scribble" can be made with Flash Actionscript 2 in less than an hour, so it isn't even a piece of software.
Serious programmers actually program, in Actionscript you take a bunch of premade "modules" and arange it to something 'new'.

The way I see it is, that he only shows us a sketch of the side of a Da Vinci painting. Anyone can do that, but few people can take a canvas and paint, and make it into an original masterpiece.
If he realy was making art, then he would have taken an actual canvas and 'digitised' it to enable it to be more than just a 0.5Mb scriptkiddie routine.

This guy is a perfect example that mediocracy is not the top.

Its also this stuff that makes TED less, rather than more, believable.
