I am fascinated by languages and culture and enjoy the tough processes involved in maintaining focused, sophisticated and effective under acute stress. During my undergraduate career I had an opportunity to spend a substantial part of my last three years in technical translation, thesis editing and liaison interpreting. This gave me a taste for a career as both freelance and in-house translator/interpreter. Even during my first years as a postgraduate diploma student in Newcastle Britain, I continued to explore other aspects in this industry by working as freelance subtitle translator.
I have worked full-time as translator, liaison interpreter and thesis editor for at least 6 years. I know the practical skills in both translating and interpreting intimately. My experiences so far have helped increase my knowledge and experience of Translating and Interpreting on both practical and theoretical level and enabled me to learn new skills and share experiences
