Apollo Robbins: The art of misdirection
He doesn't change the suit. It seems like a special fabric that changes colors, perhaps due to a chemical reaction with light. It starts purple, but as he approaches the stage after traveling among the audience, it's already pale-purple-grayish.

Will we ever truly be able to model nature?
A model of nature ought to be using parts of it. Unless the model is an exact replica of nature, with ALL of its components, you can't be sure that the model is an accurate description which gives accurate predictions. There's always a chance that some missing part in your model holds for a certain nature phenomena, which you won't see in the model. Similarly, due to missing parts, the model can give false predictions, which aren't part of nature. So, in summary, you can make as many models as you wish, but you're never going to be sure you modeled nature correctly.

Lisa Harouni: A primer on 3D printing
Well, knowledge tends to spread, there's no way to change that, unless of course you want to shed unlimited violence, and stop human progress. People will probably share free knowledge and collaborate on shared ideas and projects, same as what happened with open-sourced software. The IP law serves mainly the giant corporations who'd very much like to prevent everyone from competing with them. Just read the ridiculous lawsuits that flood this area. See, the average person doesn't have access to the politicians, corporations and rich men do. I wouldn't care about IP. Once the knowledge becomes abundant, everyone will be free to construct and evolve their ideas. Entrepreneurship will then have to focus on more difficult, challenging tasks, which will advance us even further. And yet, at its time again, that new knowledge will become abundant too, which is a good thing.
