Sal Cipres Posted 9 months ago Juan Enriquez: Your online life, permanent as a tattoo You are who you are and you alway have free will to make your own choices. Your digital footprint won't change that regardless of what is says. Be true to yourself and you shouldn't have any worries. Remember that you can always go off-the-grid, but only until you no longer exist in your present physical form then the cats out of the preverbal bag as it will. Of course the purpose of existence (in any form) is to communicate, learn, grow, and mature your conscience while reducing entropy. Once past this physical existence communication and knowledge is instant and not time bound. The perspective from this existence is limited...like a single bacteria living in the lining of a human stomach existing on the sustenance provided by the host without realizing there is a bigger existence, then one day it gets a glimpse of the "outer world perspective" only to realize it's pretty small in the big picture of the unbounded universe. If interested in such perspective read Thomas Campbell's book "My BIG T.O.E.". Interesting read on the Theory Of Everything. Not for the faint of heart or anyone who is bound by a belief system that limits their thinking or view of existence. Didn't intend to go on a tangent but it seems that all our real digital footprints are stored forever regardless of whether we like it or not.
