About Me

"Improve" is about improvisation and about making things better.

We create attractive places, if we have nowhere to go, to communicate and have fun, get inspiration and find out something new. We organize events if we cannot find what we like on venues menu. We attract audience for those we love, either scientist, jazzman, stand-up comedian or urban designer.

We produce concerts and festivals of contemporary improvised music, stand-up gigs, scientific performances and lectures for kids and grown-ups, urban events that help to rebuild spaces for the community. We promote new trends in edutainment, events and urban planning.

We do all that for ourselves - create places and communities for a happy living. Our audience are curious and conscious people who love their home and what is around them.

I myself am the owner of the Improve agency, music curator, and producer in other areas of work.

My TED Story

I was working in finance until I realized that I don't do what I am for so I began to look for it. I organized a couple of TEDx (TEDxMoscow, TEDxPerm) and concerts, led a blog about finacial crisis, opened public speaking workshops etc. I kept trying to do what I thought was important and great and kept reflecting on "does it express my values?" Finally I realized, that everything that i do in life is about inspiring and connecting people, about co-creating a better future, about long-term thinking. So I have started an agency, which organizes events in improvised jazz, stand-up comedy, urban design and science. I take things personally, and I beleive that this is the only way to make a change in the world.
