The Global Hamlet - the first, great experiment of a people’s edition of a literary work: it is the world annotating and illustrating William Shakespeare’s Hamlet throughout the web.
The project will propose to of all its participants to annotate not only with text, but also with traditional images and videos of the play, and to illustrate its scenes through drawings and clips. Everyone can try his hand, everyone can participate, under the supervision of expert Shakespearian editors, at composing a collective critical apparatus with the intent to create from the ground up the highest quality edition of Hamlet.
I will be a speaker at TEDx Lake Como this coming November.
