Is the "ease of life" worth fighting for in the United States or is better to be in a country that strives for its citizens to work to live.
Your right. When it is an option to take A or B, yes no one is behind the wheel it is either A or B. The question that I was asking is it harder here in the United States to strive for a lifestyle that does not fit the "standard" lifestyle or what is the "American Dream". I m seeing many people aim their response towards a decision I m requiring opinions for. I am not. The question again is the "Ease Of Life" from a society viewpoint not my own.

Wow, that's a gutsy call. I completely understand about taking what matters in your life and analyzing what makes you happy, pursuing it and having gratification from your deeds. I m more interested if people thing that if its harder in the United States to go down this path than in other countries. Almost to the point as if it is more of a psychological burden here because of the subliminal messages through TV, movies, ads, and even through everyday life as we see the people who benefit from "corporate structures" versus those who are peaceful but yet struggling. For someone who has life experiences you can definitely read through the crap but for a young person trying to figure out what they want I can see the struggle of decision making because of what is considered the "American Way'. Before I go off on another tangent ha, what do you think.

No, just using that as an example to speculate or examine if we are really putting are "best foot forward" when it comes to giving opportunity to students to succeed without the overbearing of stress that could be brought to a minimum if we had an emphasis on keeping students in schools, universities and so on for the pursuit of higher education to prosper in our society. As I said before the "ease of life" not to be confused with an easy life, is what I was wondering if we can honestly say we practice hear in the United States. Its obtainable but it is almost frowned upon when you take the side of making life practical for the people rather than a social quest to obtain status and recognition.

I acknowledge the people that work towards their ambitions. I think when it all comes together we all want to pursue a goal that has substance and integrity for ourselves. What my dilemma is, we live in a country full of opportunity to succeed in so many different ways. In these "ways" we find ourselves maturing towards that goal or being interrupted or discouraged with our lives, which in many cases are afflictions that will come from our society. Such as, if a student that is not well of in our country going to college has financial hard ship with paying tuition, books, board, etc but maintains a gpa that is above the average, why are the assistance for this student not fulfilling enough to provide for this educational path...and if there is a scholarship why is it that we have such a threshold on finances but yet some of our taxes goes towards programs that are futile and do not prosper for society to grow. I just think about things like that and if the emphasis on creating or discovering your career or benefits towards society is misguided here in the United States versus other countries. If so what are those other countries? Can we learn from their models or culture?

How to let go of your old/past self
Let the external validation be spontaneous, disordered, uncontrollable. You cant and don't want to plan an external entity for validation of anything. For example, A compliment is better when your not expecting it. So let it be not expected all the time. Internally always see yourself moving with life. "Like Water." as Bruce Lee would say. "Water is always flowing so you got to keep on flowing". Inward we must always acknowledge are achievements and failures in the now and understand and learn in the past. I think your pat on the back will be greater once you have achieved a goal for yourself and people recognize your achievement when you have moved to the next. Just try not to get caught up of where you were and what the future can possibly be with your goals and achievements...just keep on flowing. Again I humbly express my opinion. Thanks.

Do you think more can be done amongst the youth and young people to combat cyber bullying?
I don't understand why bullying is something of a new concept. Cyber, school, or the workplace this is nothing new. Why do I say this? Well be honest can you cure sickness. NO, that's to broad. Can you cure a specific sickness? Maybe, depends on the sickness. So when we use bullying as the main point of the problem we say a general statement for something that is much larger. What is the root for people to want to feel better or powerful than others and take satisfaction for this? Is this a human behavior? Can this be nested in our DNA, genetic makeup, or is this an primal trait that all species have. What I m getting at is that, this has been going on since we as humans recorded history. Bullying is complicated. Think about all the reasons why a kid or adult would bully. There are tons of issues psychological that are composed of this issue. I think that this is a continuing process that most will face in life. Because not everyone wants or knows moral consideration nor want to know. They can be fine without ever knowing this. So much like sickness, you must be prepared for people like this, mentally. Not everyone can do this and if everyone could we would never have this problem in our human society. So, preparing a mind for this "Sickness" is a solution. Now the next question is how do you prepare oneself to combat being bullied.

How to let go of your old/past self
This is a great topic. I think we must first look at the problem or problems. Jiddu Krishnamurti always referred to "how we think as people as the root of the problem". We must first change that before we can have a solution. So, a solution for a problem that many will go through but no clear path....and that is based on trying to organize life. The organization of life is the control factor that we try to do on a external level. This is a problem because you can t control how life flows. We can make all the psychological hypothesis on how to better cope with emotions but, the problem is controlling these things. What happened to understanding, accepting, and being that person with flaws and potentials. So, how do you appreciate that person we are growing to be or who we are. Conflict.....I think conflict is when we compare what we are to someone we would like to be. Or we want to be someone, to be an idol, someone inspiring to impress another, or for the gain of recognition. Especially in America, it is slapped in your face on what we should be at an early age. But what is wrong with the man or woman that likes a non stressful job cleaning houses. Someone says "Oh wow, you can do better than that." but, that person has no stress and is content with that lifestyle. What if ambition was measured on what makes you happy. What if the schools were teaching on the trials of life, massive cultural acceptance, and critical thinking and much more. An education to enhance the creation of the mind and acceptance for the unique abilities we all have. So, how do we become comfortable when we have been programmed and brainwashed for so long. LET GO! Accept your flaws physically and mentally. Accept your brilliant difference from one another. Accept people that look at you for YOU and not what the classifications are in our society. Accept that happiness is letting go of the substance inside us, the conflict of what we should be. Accept your self for you in grow from there
