Born in the Summer of Love to decidedly non-hippy parents. Raised in rural and/ or industrial settings in Maryland and Ohio. Moved to Texas for college. Eschewed studying for hunting down books by PKD, Burroughs, and Bukowski (a trilogy familiar to bookstore workers everywhere) in the U of H Library. Switched from Chemical Engineering to English Lit because Organic Chem was cutting into my musical rackets. Upon graduating, promptly entered the lucrative field of punk rock record selling, where (excepting genre changes) I more or less remain. Started writing because I can. Started record label because I am a masochist. Still playing, still creating. Current pursuits include recording towering psychedelic epics with endless guitar solos, obsessive journal writing, yoga, living in NYC on esoteric sources of income.
My music, my love, my Work.
"Art is love is God"- Wallace Berman
Gigs of all sorts, weird psychedelic records, guitar pedals, 60s & 70s sf novels
Complaining about how there's no good tex-mex in NYC (OK, maybe people do know that)
They hunted me down, and here I am.
