Anton Levdonsky Posted about 2 years ago Is the education crysis a political or cultural problem? I consider it could be a demograpy problem. It seems that today the education system is partly designed to make kids do someting. This "doing something" is to occupate their time for them not to become some anti-social characters. In combination with a need for a qualified workforce that's why it could be considered a political problem. However education is not just about geting knowledge and occupying time. It is also about socialisation! It might be that good education is not only about knowledge, but about communication and shating ideas. If we are to modernize educational system in a way to cut costs and increase knowledge it is possiable to promote internet-based education. But it won't promote team work and communication as a traditional education. That's why it is a cultural problem.
