A comment on Talk: Temple Grandin: The world needs all kinds of minds

Mar 8 2010: I can't imagine how schools would be like if all hans-on classes were taken away. Those classes motivates and attracts any kind of children! In classes with interesting activities like hands-on stuff or play, children learn fast because of strong positive motivation and the massive information given by real context. I think making all kinds of subjects, such as language, math, physics...etc. into a teaching styles which combines lecture and activities are the future of education. And I also love Temple's idea of bringing TED or other internet resources into school education, teaching children how to get knowledge by themselves regarding to their personal interests.
