Sitting around watching linguist John whorter tell the truth abour ttexting and thinking that this is what life is about. Solving problems we face. As a teen, I text a lot and this video proposed an aruement to the sugestion (my relatives give) that texting is destroying our language and a phone was made for talking, people rather text now! I think that since technology is already here, lets use it in a good way. Lets use it to become sucessful in our everyday lives and that is why i love TED so much and that's also why I wanted to be apart of something so benefecial to they young and believe it or not the old, today.

An idea worth spreading
I just really think that our government needs to stop puttrug abusers in jail. ts or at least two time ding drug abuserhey obviously need help so why not stop wasting money on new prisons os these criminals can get back to their ways and start creating programs to find out what is really preventing them to stop abusing drugs and help them. The state i live in has the MOST PRISONS IN THE WORLD!!!! Do you k how embarrasing that is? I think that we should all just think about this for a moment and consider the fact that this teen may be right. Age doesn't matter when it comes to intelligence as many ahve learned, but really people, lets get these people off the streets for good.
I'm passionate about
Kids being aware of politics. We cant all be raised in a home of politicians like i was but we are all smart enough to support someone because of their beliefs, not because their parents support them.
Talk to me about
Talk to me about making baby boomers and other people born before our century aware that technology is already here and it is here to stay. We have to get some new ways some day, it's called life!!!!!
People don't know I'm good at
People don't know that I'm good at arguing. i always put up a great case. (All the men and half of the women in my family are lawyers.)
