Should we bomb Syria?
I do not think we should bomb Syria and feel the majority of Americans agree. But.... we may see a change of mind if we are hit with an attack within our own borders. Not conventionally, but through "cyber" warfare. If half the grid went down for a few days due to an attack from the "Syrian Electronic Army" most Americans would be screaming "death to al-Assad....we want our wi-fi!!" Maybe I am just cynical and sarcastic, but I wouldn't put it pass this administration. A convenient time to launch such a false flag.....erm....I mean.... attack would be around November when this is happening: http://www.nytimes.com/2013/08/17/us/as-worries-over-the-power-grid-rise-a-drill-will-simulate-a-knockout-blow.html?pagewanted=all&_r=1& Just a crazy thought... nothing to see here folks.

How do we expose our educators to new ways of learning?
Teachers should be rotated. Think of it in terms of 4 week periods, as an example. So instead of student having one primary teacher for Algebra, you have 4, per year. Schools could share teachers and break the monotony of the nine to five. Several different styles of teaching one subject can be introduced to the student and open up a new world of possibilities.

Eating 100% green
This is a tough challenge! I'm sure it can be done though with the right amount of reseach and available food. Food can still be processed and be considered raw (ground, pureed, minced, chopped, etc) Would you still consume fermented things such as vinegar? How abour raw honey? There are many cold soups you can make with raw ingredients. You can sprout raw chickpeas and then puree into hummus w raw garlic and minced vegetables. Like many have suggested below, be sure to wash very well and aim for all organic produce. Not being able to survive for more than 3 weeks on raw food is a crazy notion! It can be done and has been done. You just need the resources to ensure you are getting your proper nutrients. Do you own a juicer, Pabitra? -C

Let's quit smoking
Green tea and guitar playing helped me. Occupied my hands.I quit during the winter season, so the tea replaced that warm feeling. Also keeping a pack around while you are quitting is a good way to know that you are in control. You have to WANT to quit, like time traveler said. and not HAVE to quit.

Buggin' Out: Urban Bug Farming for the Future
I think we may want to relate this to how we colonized bees. And how the Honey Bee has been overbred because of its "byproduct" in which we have exploited and modified. Insects and Bees are vital to our ecosystem and I could see a scenario similar to the "vanishing of the bees" happen with other organisms that are crucial to our biodiversity. This of course would come with the capitalization on something like "insect meat" Not that I disagree with eating insects. But the commercialization, like anything......could spiral out of control. MUTANT BUGS! J/k Interesting idea though.
